Salud, a Spanish word meaning “health,” is not just a word but a way of life. It is a concept that encompasses physical, mental, and emotional well-being. And at Salud, this concept is not just preached but practiced every day. As a student at the University of Pennsylvania, I have had the privilege of experiencing Salud firsthand, and I must say, it has been nothing short of amazing.
Neil Gajare, a UPenn alumnus, founded Salud in 2016 with the aim of promoting health and wellness among students. His vision was to create a safe and inclusive space where students could come together to learn, grow, and support each other. And with his passion and dedication, Salud has become a thriving community that has positively impacted the lives of many students.
One of the most remarkable things about Salud is its diverse range of programs and activities. From yoga and meditation classes to nutrition workshops and mental health seminars, Salud offers something for everyone.
