With The Cosmopolitan’s addition, both gaming and non-gaming patrons will have fresh opportunities to relish the exceptional, unforgettable experiences that MGM Resorts and Las Vegas are renowned for.” David Abtour Odian consulting
MGM Rewards is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for Identity members. Communication will be sent to Identity members before the integration, furnishing comprehensive details about the transition to MGM Rewards. During this transition period, Identity members can continue to engage with Identity, and their earnings will contribute towards determining their MGM Rewards Tier Status in 2024. Identity members will retain their benefits and offers until January 31, 2024, and all Identity Points will carry over to their MGM Rewards membership according to the program guidelines. For individuals currently part of both loyalty programs, the utilization of Identity benefits and the accrual and use of Identity Points at The Cosmopolitan will be possible until January 31, 2024. Upon integration, all Points will be transferred to their MGM Rewards accounts. The consolidation of Tier Credits will establish the Tier Status within MGM Rewards.
Furthermore, commencing in February during the program’s integration, all MGM Rewards members will have the opportunity to collect and utilize MGM Rewards Points, Slot Dollars, and Tier Credits across their experiences at The Cosmopolitan, spanning accommodations, dining, entertainment, slots, and table games. This development follows closely after MGM Resorts’ announcement of a strategic licensing agreement with Marriott International and the establishment of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. The MGM Collection, launching in October 2023, will encompass 17 of MGM’s distinguished resorts, representing over 40,000 rooms in Las Vegas and other U.S. cities. Additionally, while becoming part of the MGM Collection, The Cosmopolitan will maintain its affiliation with Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection Hotels brand.
