The Chicago Bears had another disappointing campaign in 2023.
Some pundits predicted they would be one of the most improved teams in the league and that they could even make a run at their division, with Justin Fields as a dark horse MVP candidate.
Fast forward to today, and none of that has happened.
However, as crazy as it may seem, and even though they’re 6-9, which means they will finish the season with a losing record, they can still make the playoffs via Fox Sports.
The Bears are 6-9, which ensures they will finish the season with a losing record, but they are still mathematically alive to make the playoffs

Needless to say, they’ll need plenty of outside help for that to happen:
The Bears obviously need to win out and beat both the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers.
Then, they need the Seattle Seahawks to lose out vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.
They also need the Los Angeles Rams to lose out in their games vs. the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers.
The New Orleans Saints need to lose one vs. either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Atlanta Falcons.
And last but not least, they would also need the Green Bay Packers to lose to the Minnesota Vikings or the Vikings to lose out vs. the Packers and Detroit Lions.
Of course, the chances of all these things happening are pretty close to none, but there’s still a chance.
Whatever the case, Justin Fields should be very motivated ahead of these games, as he’s pretty much auditioning to get a job next season, whether it’s in Chicago or not.
