Every era in the NBA is bound to have a few players who are simply better than the rest of the league.
They can become the faces of the NBA and are fan favorites throughout their respective careers.
Keeping that in mind, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry have fulfilled that role in the modern era.
Although the three superstars are in their twilight years, they remain three of the best players in the NBA and are destined to become first-ballot Hall of Famers.
However, NBA analyst John Hollinger pointed out another concerning similarity between the three superstars via The Athletic NBA on Twitter.
“Despite the fact that these three players remain at an All-Star level (at the very least), their respective teams just aren’t that good,” Hollinger wrote.
What do LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry have in common?
Hall of Fame cases, countless individual accolades, and multiple championships.
Oh, and possibly participants in the 2024 Western Conference Play-In Tournament, writes @johnhollinger.https://t.co/NAhZe6n4AV pic.twitter.com/5HCDs5HDKr

Hollinger pointed out that each superstar may be at the NBA All-Star level, but their respective teams are simply not good enough to help them win the 2024 NBA Championship.
Starting things off with the Phoenix Suns, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-15 record despite Kevin Durant averaging MVP-like numbers this season.
Following Durant’s Suns are LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers, who are the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-17 record.
Lastly, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are the 11th seed in the West with a 16-17 record this season.
Considering James, Durant, and Curry will undoubtedly clinch a spot in the 2024 NBA All-Star game, it’s certainly sad to see the possibility of each superstar missing the 2024 postseason.
Will LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry still find a way to will their respective teams to the playoffs?
