It’s hard to know what to make of the Dallas Cowboys.
Once again, the team has been up and down, and while they did beat some good teams this season, they also struggled against contenders over and over.
Their defense has alternated stellar performances with not-so-great ones, and their running game has been pretty much non-existent.
Nonetheless, despite all that, former NFL star Jeff Saturday still has plenty of faith in them.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Saturday called Prescott ‘the best quarterback in the NFC,’ stating that you will always have a chance to win when you have the best quarterback.

Ironically, just one year ago, that would be a bit of a shocking statement, as Prescott was often deemed the weakest link on the team.
He’s had the best season of his career and is looking to secure a very lucrative contract extension, and it’s hard to argue with that statement after watching him play this season.
Of all of the teams that have already secured a postseason berth, the Cowboys do have a strong case for having the best quarterback, as Jalen Hurts has regressed vastly this season, and Brock Purdy hasn’t looked the part against winning teams.
Then again, we cannot forget about Matthew Stafford, especially after the way he’s managed to lead the Los Angeles Rams back to contention after what seemed to be a wasted season.
Whatever the case, the Cowboys have a strong chance, and anything short of a trip to the Super Bowl could be considered a failure.
