The Dallas Cowboys took care of business and didn’t leave anything to chance, handling the Washington Commanders in the regular season finale to make sure to play at home to start the playoffs.

They also caught a huge break when the Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers, as they will now host the Green Bay Packers instead of Sean McVay’s team.

That’s why NFL analyst Nick Wright doesn’t see a world where they lose in the Wild Card round.

Talking on FOX’s First Things First, the renowned pundit stated that Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb are the best quarterback-wide receiver combo in the league right now, and avoiding the Rams was huge for them.

“The Cowboys aren’t going to flame out.  They’re not losing to Green Bay,” Wright said.

He doesn’t necessarily think they could beat the San Francisco 49ers or Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game, but he doesn’t think that losing just one game before the Super Bowl would be ‘flaming out.’

As a matter of fact, Wright believes the Cowboys have a better chance of making the Super Bowl than of losing in the first two rounds of the playoffs:

“So, the question is, are they gonna lose in round 1 or 2? No. So, it’s way more likely they reach the Super Bowl,” he said.

Truth be told, Mike McCarthy’s team has everything they need to go the distance and put an end to their decades-long Super Bowl drought.

We’ve seen them crumble under pressure way too many times in the past, but they’ve been very dominant at home.

The Niners have had their numbers in years past, but with the Rams looking like a potential upset candidate, you never know what might happen in the playoffs.
