Ukraine knocks countries that condemned alleged attempt to attack Putin compound

Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha has strongly condemned the recent statements alleging that Kyiv initiated an attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s compound. In a post on the social platform, Sybiha expressed his disappointment and concern over the false claims made by Emirati, Indian, and Pakistani sides.

The Ukrainian minister stated that they were disappointed to see such baseless accusations being made against their country. He emphasized that Ukraine has always been a peaceful nation and has no intention of initiating any attacks on other countries, let alone the residence of a world leader.

Sybiha further stated that Ukraine has always been committed to international law and principles of peaceful coexistence. The country has been a victim of Russian aggression and has lost thousands of lives in the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine. Accusing Ukraine of attacking Putin’s compound is not only false but also disrespectful to the sacrifices made by the Ukrainian people.

The Minister also expressed his concern over the fact that these statements were made by high-ranking officials of Emirati, Indian, and Pakistani governments. He urged them to use their platform responsibly and not spread false information that could have serious consequences.

The statement by the Emirati side, in particular, raised eyebrows as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been a close ally of Ukraine and has always supported its territorial integrity. The Indian and Pakistani sides also have strong diplomatic ties with Ukraine and should have verified the information before making any remarks.

Sybiha also reminded the international community that Ukraine has always been a victim of Russian propaganda and disinformation. This incident is another attempt by Russia to divert attention from its own aggressive actions and portray Ukraine as a threat to regional security.

He also highlighted the fact that Ukraine has been advocating for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine. The country has consistently shown its commitment to the Minsk agreements and has taken significant steps towards achieving peace in the region.

The false claims made by these countries are not only damaging to Ukraine’s reputation but also undermine its efforts towards peace. It is important for the international community to stand united against such false propaganda and support Ukraine in its pursuit of peace and stability.

The Ukrainian Minister also emphasized the need for responsible media reporting. It is the responsibility of media outlets to fact-check information before publishing it, especially when it involves sensitive issues such as international relations and security.

In conclusion, Minister Sybiha’s statement serves as a reminder to the international community to be cautious of false narratives and propaganda. Ukraine remains committed to its principles of peace and cooperation and will not be swayed by baseless accusations. It is time for the international community to come together and support Ukraine in its efforts towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
