The Memphis Grizzlies cannot catch a break with injuries this season.
They struggled to stay afloat without Ja Morant, who served a 25-game suspension to start the season.
And just when it seemed like they were ready to make a postseason push in the second half of the campaign, they found out they would have to be without their best player again, his time for the remainder of the year.
Morant was only able to play in 9 games before being shut down for the season with a shoulder injury.
That’s why he took to Twitter to express his frustration over this situation.
“Damn dawg,” he posted.

He underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum, and with his team sitting on a 13-23 record and the 13th spot in the Western Conference, it’s highly unlikely that they make the playoffs.
Morant averaged 25.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game on 47% from the floor.
He’s one of the best young players in the league, an electrifying leader who can put everybody on their feet with his poster dunks and dazzling play.
The Grizzlies have also missed Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke this season, while Derrick Rose and Marcus Smart have struggled with ailments of their own.
The only silver lining is that they do have one of the most promising teams in the league, and now they’re likely to add a top-10 pick to that mix, as they’re not likely to win many more games until the end of the season.
