The statement should put to rest any doubts about Prescott’s future in Dallas, as the Cowboys have invested significant resources in him over the years. He was a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and the team has consistently surrounded him with strong offensive weapons and a stout defense. The 2017 season saw the Cowboys reach their first Divisional Round since the 1995 season, and that was led by Prescott.
While Prescott’s playoff performance has come under fire over the last few years, Jones is confident that they can rebound in 2020 and continue on their journey to compete for championships.
