Elon Musk announces that Twitter will undergo a logo change

Elon Musk revealed his plan to make a significant change to Twitter’s appearance by replacing its iconic bird logo, marking one of the most visible alterations since he took control of the social media platform last year. In an early Sunday morning tweet, Mr. Musk mentioned bidding farewell to the “Twitter brand” and its bird logo, stating that if a suitable X logo is proposed, it will be implemented globally the following day. The term “X” refers to an “everything app” concept that Mr. Musk envisions, which could integrate social media, instant messaging, and payment services, resembling China’s popular WeChat app. He sees acquiring Twitter as an acceleration towards creating this X app, and his corporate entity for the acquisition is called X Holdings.
