Banning laptops in class: a good idea?

The Dutch government has just announced that from January 1, 2024 mobile phones, tablets and smartwatches will be banned in classrooms in the Netherlands, except during digital lessons and for students who need it for medical reasons, explains the Guardian. Robbert Dijkgraaf, Minister of Education, said:
