The previous editions of the Trail de la Ciboule, at the Girouard, were full each time. An organization, a course and a supervision of volunteers made this competition an event appreciated by all the competitors present for this event.
“We heard feedback from last year’s competitors, so we’ve moved the start times forward to beat the heat which should still be there this year,” says Jérôme Bonneau of the association l ‘Élan Girouardais, organizer of the event.

“To the three events that will crisscross the Girouard countryside, the trail of the gaillards, that of the elk and the little trail, we have added a free discovery formula with the Ciboulette, 1 km course , open to children from 2008 to 2015 with a departure at 11:30 am. For walkers, the start of the 10 km will be at 9:15 a.m., adds Jérôme, who specifies that bar and catering will be provided on site.
Performs
The race, which is above all intended to be friendly and family-oriented, revealed the performances of athletes of very good level.
Who will succeed Vincent Gadé’s 1h44 of the Raid Aventure Pays de Vie for the men and Elsa Soulard of the Entente Angevine Athlétisme and her time of 1h59 for the women? “The weather conditions in 2022 were quite favorable for a nature race. Wish we had such good weather for July 14,” hopes Jérôme.
